Development of High Performance Copper Alloy Shroud Ring for Railway Electrical Machine

Based on the analysis of the demand of high performance copper alloys for the application in railway electrical machine,the requirement and processing technology of copper shroud ring were especially focused on.A copper alloy shroud ring with the ultimate strength over 750 MPa and elongation over 12% was obtained and the strengthening mechanism was analyzed.Finally,the applications of high performance copper alloy for railway electrical machine were prospected.
