The main species and pollution of environmental hormones in water

Environmental hormones,as a kind of natural or manmade chemical substances which have the estrogen-like activities may disrupt the function of the endocrine system and exhibit reproductive,developmental,immune dysfunction by application of function of endogenous hormone or combination with estrogen receptor. Environmental hormones are easy to assemble in water environment and do great harms to aquatic organisms. In this article,species, source and pollution of five typical environmental hormones in water were summarized in details,and the hazards of several environmental hormones were discussed. Then the prospect of future study in this field was put forward .
