A method for adjusting the best viewing distance of a naked eye 3D display relates to the adjustment technology for the best viewing distance of the naked eye 3D display and solves problems that the increase amplitude of the best viewing distance is small, the cost is high and the adjustment is tedious in the conventional adjusting method. The method is characterized in that an angle [beta] of a derivative lens is firstly selected, wherein the derivative lens is a derivative lens of an original cylindrical lens, and the angle [beta] is required to guarantee acquisition of a clear 2D picture; then an arrangement mode of composite graphs in a player is adjusted according to the value of -[beta], a pixel arrangement sequence is adjusted into a reverse order, and a parallax graph reading sequence of the player is adjusted into a reverse order. With the adoption of the method provided by the invention, the best viewing distance of the naked eye 3D display can be doubled or further by adjustment while a lens with a variable focal length is not required, the cost is low, and the adjustment process is simple to operate. The method is suitable for adjusting the best viewing distance of the naked eye 3D display.
