The Effects of Cynachum uilfordii (Maxim) Hemsl on the Learning Memory Disorder Caused by Drug in Mouse

ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of Cynachum uilfordii(Maxim) Hemsl on the mouse space learning memory disorder caused by drug and to investigate the mechanism of effection.Methods50 mouse were randomly divided into blank matched group,model group,positive control group(manyprickle acanthopanax root injection),Cynachum uilfordii high dosage group(15 g/kg) and low dosage group (7.5 g/kg).Each group was deal with severally,then measured the latent periods in Morris Water Maze test.The mouse of each group were put to death by dislocating their cervical vertebras after the behavior tests.The brain was hydroxylamine colorimetric method.ResultsThe reaching-bank time(latent period)of model group prolonged obviously,which showed the space learing memory disorder;The latent periods of positive control group,Cynachum uilfordii high dosage group and low dosage group prolonged control group,Cynachum uilfordii high dosage group was the best of the three above.The content of Ach of Cynachum uilfordii high dosage group and low dosage group was visibly high dosage group and low dosage group were appreciably higher than that of model group,and both of them were lower than of positive control group.ConclusionThe results indicated the Cynachum uilfordii(Maxim)Hemsl has effect on the space learing memory disorder caused by drug.
