This set-up is a valuable tool for quantitative assessment and optimisation of multicomponent sensors and also brings insight on pre-processing methods for vector fidelity correction. Introduction Repeatability and fidelity of the coupling of multicomponent sensors with the seabed is generally considered as an important issue.
