Considerations on Quality in Preschool Education in Brazil

We intend to present some considerations about the treatment and the quality of pre-school education in Brazil. Departing from some perspectives that come from studies of research groups: Childhood and Teacher Knowledge UERJ and Study Group UFJF Learning System. The focus of the first group research is the formation and the production of knowledge in the university day care center and also childhood and their diversity and how it is seen in the recent production of knowledge. However the Study Group Learning System / UFJF study issues concerning the relations among the federal education systems, state and municipal. We will emphasize in our writing the development of Pre-school in the country as well as the advances and setbacks in search of care of quality in this teaching modality. We work on research from the knowledge production in this field of study, in addition we analyze the current laws and some statistical data, where we realize that there is a gap between what is proposed in the law and the care by itself to Brazilian child.
