Influence of the Temperature of Annealing Under Quasi-Hydrostatic Pressure on the Texture and Phase Composition of the Bi(Pb)2223 Ceramics

2015
Influence of the temperature of annealing under quasi-hydrostatic pressure P = 10 MPa on the texture and microstructure of the Bi(Pb)2223 textured ceramics is studied. Annealing at T = 925°C causes no noticeable weakening of the texture, but is accompanied by increase in the number of secondary phase particles and formation of the microstructure inhomogeneous along the specimen radius. In the specimen annealed at T = 925°C, the annular region of the material with high content of (Sr, Ca)14Cu24O41 and (Sr, Ca)2CuO3 particles is observed. An increase in the annealing temperature to 935°C leads to complete decomposition of the Bi(Pb)2223 matrix phase in the entire volume of the specimen.
