Backlight drive circuit and television set

2011
The utility model discloses a backlight drive circuit utilizing a primary half-bridge resonance circuit to directly drive and control a lamp bar circuit. The backlight drive circuit comprises a primary resonance circuit, a secondary lamp bar circuit and a light isolation reactive circuit taking the effect of optical coupler feedback, wherein the primary resonance circuit generates driving pulse signals based on received external voltage and current signals reported from the light isolation reactive circuit and provides necessary work voltage for the secondary lamp bar circuit in dependence on the driving pulse signals; the light isolation reactive circuit samples the current loaded in the secondary lamp bar circuit in real time and reports the feedback of the current signals to the primary resonance circuit. The backlight drive circuit utilizes the primary half-bridge resonance circuit to directly lighten and control the backlight and uses the optical coupler as the feedback control from the secondary to the primary. The drive circuit is simplified, LED driving chips on the secondary side are omitted and the device quantity of the whole system is reduced.
