Anti-vibration Mounting System

We examine the design of an anti-vibration mounting system as the X-ray and optical fringes monitored by the detectors must be protected from the vibrations caused by several sources of mechanical and/or acoustic noise. Lagrange equations of linear motion relevant to several systems are written, starting from simple one or two degrees of freedom up to more realistic six degrees of freedom systems.
