Российско-казахстанский вектор приграничного экономического сотрудничества в рамках интеграционных процессов Евразийского экономического союза

2018
The article deals with topical questions of the integration processes within the Eurasian Economic Union. Russia-Kazakhstan cross-border cooperation is taken as an example of these processes. 25 years after the dissolution of the USSR, “asymmetry” of the economic processes in the post-Soviet space can be clearly observed. In the early 1990s, the horizontal and vertical economic links, which had been built during the epoch of the planned economy, were broken. The formation of the market economic model radically changed the concept of industrial interaction between the “actors” in the post-Soviet space. The creation of the post-Soviet integration groups triggered off the increase of industrial cooperation among the countries. The cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan is the most successful. These efforts resulted in advantageous background for cross-border interaction. The article analyzes the creation of “value-added chain” and its specific examples among the business entities of the both countries in different sectors of economy.
