The invention discloses a power transmission system single-phase grounding short circuit current distribution calculating method based on a phase component model. The power transmission system single-phase grounding short circuit current distribution calculating method comprises the following steps: through improvement on the phase component model, dividing a failed power transmission system into a left network and a right network which are independent of each other, performing equation establishment on the left network and the right network based on the phase component model respectively to form corresponding matrixes, further optimizing the matrixes, and thus accurately calculating the detailed distribution of the short circuit current on an overhead ground wire and a phase wire after classic power transmission system single-phase grounding short circuit. The power transmission system single-phase grounding short circuit current distribution calculating method is suitable for two different conditions, namely a single-end power supply power transmission system and a double-end power supply power transmission system; a simultaneous operation way of two overhead ground wires in a power transmission system is also included; a complicated operation way whether two overhead ground wires are segmentally insulated, and grounded tower by tower is further included; the distribution rule of the short circuit current on the overhead ground wire, calculated by a new algorithm, is further included. The power transmission system single-phase grounding short circuit current distribution calculating method is mature in technology and high in reliability.
