ABSTRACT Introduction - The healing of intestinalanastomosis has been studied specially the suturetechnique and materials used in the preparation ofanastomosis, and also to the better comprehension ofthe effects of several factors related to healing. Aconsiderable number of complications afteranastomosis of the colon and rectum can be noticedand the colonic obstruction has been as one of the mainfactors. Objective - Study the anastomotic healing inthe colon of rats after intestinal obstruction.
