Method for processing low-quality heavy oil

The invention discloses a method for processing low-quality heavy oil. According to the method, the low-quality heavy oil is subjected to reaction in a contact cracking unit to obtain light oil and a carbon-containing contact agent; the carbon-containing contact agent generates fume I rich in carbonyl sulfide and a semi-regenerated contact agent in a first regenerator; the fume I rich in carbonyl sulfide is desulfurized in a carbonyl sulfide removal device and then enters a CO combustion boiler to generate steam or enters a converter unit to prepare hydrogen and enrich CO2. The obtained semi-regenerated contact agent is put into a second regenerator, and complete regeneration is carried out in the presence of oxygen to obtain a completely-regenerated contact agent and fume II, the sulfur in the fume II mainly contains SOX, the fume II is discharged after being treated by an alkali wash device or a sulfur transfer agent and reaching a discharge standard, and the completely-regenerated contact agent returns to the contact cracking unit. Through the method disclosed by the invention, the heavy oil can be processed in an efficient, environment-friendly and safe manner, and a product with high economic values is produced.
