Phosphorous-Based Heterocycles

Abstract This chapter contains a compilation of a general discussion about the structural and reactivity aspects, biological activity and synthetic details of some phosphorus containing heterocycles. In particular, the chemistry of phospholes and phosphinines including their physical properties synthetic strategies, organic transformations, and applications are delineated.
