Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Approach to Evaluate Different Waste Management Opportunities

Municipal solid waste (MSW), popularly known as a garbage bin or garbage, is known to contain everyday items that we use and then discard, like product packaging, grass, furniture, clothes, bottles, food, newspapers, supplies, paints, and battery (Anthraper et al. 2018). This approach works for our homes, schools, hospitals, and businesses. All types of solid waste are generated by households and trading establishments, and are gathered usually by local government bodies (Meena et al. 2019). Public management techniques involve recycling into compost, combustion (with energy used to generate electricity or steam in some cases), and disposal of landfill waste. Many garbage disposal wastes contain lots of materials that can be reused, recycled, or converted into energy to replace the use of raw materials (Dehghanifard and Dehghani 2018).
