A Modeling Framework for Optimizing U.S. Air Force Fighter Pilot Access to Advanced Training Ranges

Few U.S Air Force (USAF) training ranges have the capabilities to provide fighter pilots with adequate training. The USAF is developing a plan to upgrade some of its ranges with capabilities to provide advanced training, and is considering potential squadron restationing options that would improve access to upgraded training ranges. This tool presents the technical details of an optimization model to analyze the effectiveness of these options.
