The invention relates to a measuring device for measuring a pressure head (2) having printing station (3), wherein the print head (2) is held in its position adjusted at the printing station (3), wherein the measuring device (10) comprising: - at least one receiving means (11) which is designed for recording measurement information of a position-variable component of the printing station (3); - an interface (12) for transmission of the detected measurement information; and - there is formed a receiving holder (13) which is provided for insertion into one at the printing station (3) container holding device (4) or for insertion into an opening provided at the printing station receiver (5) for a container holding device (4) to the receiving device (11 hold) at a defined position relative to the position-varying component.
