An embodiment of the invention provides a touch screen operation method and a touch screen terminal. The method comprises the steps of obtaining a first operation gesture a user sends out after touch separation is detected; obtaining a first operation process corresponding to the first operation gesture; enabling the first operation process to comprise at least one operation step and an execution sequence of each operation step; and executing each operation step in the first operation process according to the execution sequence of each operation step in the first operation process. By adopting the technical scheme, when users carry out corresponding operation through a touch screen, times for touch screen operation by the users is reduced, and the touch screen operation method is favorable for improving efficiency in carrying out user commands through the touch screen.
