COMO ESCOLHER QUAL TÉCNICA DE ENXERTIA APLICAR? UMA REVISÃO SOBRE OS DIFERENTES TIPOS DE ENXERTO ÓSSEO DENTÁRIO

Bone grafts are used in dentistry, especially in implant rehabilitation. These are widely used because they provide bone loss repair and guarantee a satisfactory rehabilitation process for patients who need these grafts. With the great diversity of grafts available in the market, some questions about the use and effectiveness of grafting techniques become frequent. In this sense, this paper discusses, through a literature review of the narrative type, the main types of bone grafts, their positive and negative factors in the treatments and the possibilities and limitations in face of bone resorption caused by tooth loss. Based on the bibliographic research carried out, what is recommended to do to find the most suitable graft technique, which is combined with another graft or not, is an analysis seeking for the graft that does not require additional surgery and has characteristics that mimic the natural bone, thus presenting a quality very similar to it.
