Intravenous Injection Site of Rafetus swinhoei

2011
Through the attempts of sites of intravenous injection, including web,the vains on both sides of the neck and turtle shell of an sick Rafetus swinhoei weighed 36 kg,we found that the large body size and the strong head convergent force make the operation difficult and unsafe for both people and the Rafetus swinhoei. Many tiny veins,0.5 mm-1 mm in diameter, lying below the bottom tortoiseplastron of Rafetus swinhoei, the dilatation and constriction of which are easily affected by the temperature but hardly move. The 0.45×15 scalp needle is used for intravenous injection of 10 mL-20 mL medication.
