Research progress of application of ionic liquids in purifying CO_2,SO_2,H_2S

Ionic liquids have been applied to air pollution control as a green solvent.They have good solubility of CO2,SO2,H2S,and as gas absorbents they have attracted people's attention with their high efficiency,wide application range and recycling ability.In this paper,the properties of ionic liquids as gas absorbents and the latest progress in air pollution control by ionic liquids are introduced,and the prospects for future research are discussed.
