The importance of liver surgery has particularly been emphasized in the resection of primary and metastatic liver malignancy. The aims of this article are to give a short review of the achievements in liver surgery and to present our experiences. We have analyzed the data on 16 patients with liver tumours consecutively operated in the Surgery Department, CHC "Zemun".
