N,N-Diethylphenylsulfonylacetamide

The title compound, C12H17NO3S, was synthesized in two steps from phenylthioacetic acid. The molecular packing is stabilized by short C—H⋯O intermolecular hydrogen bonding and a network of van der Waals contacts.
