Research on regional selection of blood pressure measurement after PICC catheterization in patients with breast cancer surgery

Objective To explore the convenient and reliable method for measurement of arterial blood pressure.Methods 260 breast cancer patients with PICC catheterization were conducted with measurement of popliteal arterial blood pressure and ankle arterial blood pressure retrospectively.Differences of cuff selection,measured value,acceptability of region and body position were compared between two methods of measurement.Results There were significant differences of cuff selection,measured value,acceptability of region and body position between the two methods of measurement(P0.05).Conclusion Application of two methods of measurement,especially the measurement of ankle arterial blood pressure can solve the problems of blood pressure measurement in breast cancer patients with PICC catheterization,so it is worthy of application and popularization.
