Advances in the methods of molecular epidemiology of enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli(EHEC)O157∶H7 infection

Enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli(EHEC) O157∶H7 seriously endangers human health,and its prevalence has become a worldwide health problem.With the progress of molecular biology,additional techniques such as pulsed-field gel electrophoresis and random amplified polymorphic DNA have been used to study the molecular epidemiology of O157∶H7.This paper provides a brief review of this work.
