Resilience for the first epsiode psychosis is a dynamic ability to survive and getting stronger to rise or achieve recovery from psychotic disorders by adapting positively and effectively to face the suppress and traumatic situations or events or threatening risk and worsen the recovery from psychotic disorders. The first episode psychosis needs to improve their resilience for the better prognosis. The purpose of this research was to describe the dynamics of resilience in four people with first episode psychosis by using the case study method. The data obtained from interviews, observations, information from the medical records of patients, and used graphical DAP tests (Draw A Person), BAUM test, HTP (House-Tree-Person) and SSCT (Sacks Sentence Completion Test). The conclusion of the discussion of the results is that the dynamics of resilience first episode psychosis can be seen from the self competence, toleration for negative influences, self acceptance towards the changing, relationships and support from others, a goal or purpose in life. The first episode psychosis show increased resilience due among others to support positive social and they are began receiving negative events experienced, and realizing the ideals and strive to realize the purpose of life. Patients with psychosis showed a better prognosis if they are more resilient and increased GAF score (Global Assessment of Functioning), whereas patients who are less resilient improved less prognosis this can be seen from the recent diagnosis based on the PPDGJ-III and DSM IV-TR.
