Research on the Information Service Demand and Service Approach of Foreign Readers in University Library under the Background of "Double First-Class" Construction

With the promotion of the "Double First-Class" construction, more and more universities are opening to the outside world to import more international experts and students in various majors. Foreign readers of university libraries include foreign teachers and overseas students. They have different needs for library information services with its own characteristics because of the different identities and different stages. It is an important content for the library to enhance the internationalization of information literacy and support the construction of "Double First-class" by deeply understanding their personalized needs for libraries, providing them with innovative information services different from those of local readers, and meeting the needs of readers. Based on CNKI database and Python, this paper makes a bibliometric analysis of the service related research on foreign readers carried out by domestic colleges and universities. On this basis, it gives out classification of foreign readers in university libraries and library service strategy model, discusses the ways and emphases of library information service according to the service needs of foreign readers with different identities and different stages.
