CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF N-OXID-2-FORMYL-PYRIDYL PHENYL HYDRAZINE

The title compound N-oxid-2-formyl-pyridyl phenyl hydrazine is synthesized by the reaction of 2-formylpyridine N-oxide with phenyl hydrazine in the methanol.The single crystal structure has been determined by X- ray diffraction method.Compound has the molecular formula C 12H 13N 3O 2, M r=231.25.The crystal belongs to orthorhombic system,space group P bca,cell parameters: a=1.11327(16) nm, b=0.81406(12) nm, c=2.5782(4) nm, V=0.2335(6) nm3, Z=8,D c=1.315g·cm -3, μ= 0.092 mm -1, F(000)=976,R 1=0.0389,wR 2=0.1035,S=0.661. The structure shows a one dimension chain which is combined by hydrogen bonds (O(1)...O(1W) 0.2719nm,O(1)...O(1Wa) 0.2751nm).
