36.3: High Sensitivity and Low Cross-Talk Deflection Yoke for Projection Displays

The deflection yoke (DY) with high sensitivity and low cross-talk convergence yoke (CY) for Projection display has been developed. Compared to a conventional convergence yoke, the improved ones have one more convergence yoke toroidal coils on the deflection yoke core. As the result, the convergence yoke sensitivity have been improved about 16%, and the cross-talk voltage in the convergence yoke affected by the deflection yoke has been reduced about 50% at the same time.
