High-frequency Contrast-enhanced Ultrasound Imaging and Super-resolution Imaging of Rat Coronary Arteries

2021
Ischaemic heart disease is the biggest killer in the world, and the mortality of coronary artery disease of the world is still growing up. While, The clinical coronary angiography modalities are not only not convenient enough, but are suffering from limitations like invasiveness, radiation, insufficient spatial and temporal resolution. Contrast-enhanced ultrasound imaging (CEUS) and super-resolution ultrasound imaging (SRUS) are convenient and have great spatial and temporal resolution. In this study, we propose high-frequency contrast-enhanced coronary ultrasound imaging (HCCUS) and super-resolution coronary ultrasound imaging. And rat model was used to verify the feasibility in reflecting the blood vessel structure and flow patterns of coronary arteries with high temporal and spatial resolution.
