Validation of a Patient Satisfaction Scale in Patients Undergoing Bowel Preparation Prior to Colonoscopy

Background Colonoscopy is the most widely used test to screen for colorectal cancer but its use may be hindered by patients’ inability to complete the bowel preparation. Patient-reported satisfaction with bowel-cleansing preparations has received little attention.
