Color change dose meter film and its manufacture

PURPOSE: To provide a non-defective film by containing an acid sensitization leuco dye in a halogen-containing polymer which is colored with an acid, in a dye which does not substantially contain a group having sensitization to high energy radiation. CONSTITUTION: A film 10 of such halogen-containing polymer as chlorine, bromine and fluorine where an acid-sensitization leuco dye is diffused. The dye does not substantially contain a group which is sensitizing to high energy radiation, but is colored with an acid. The amount of high energy radiation required for coloring is 0.1 kiro G ray-1000 kiro G ray. The leuco dye contains carbazole methane, bis-indo-phthalide, fluorene or a mixture of them, and exists by an amount of 1-10 part for each halogen-containing polymer 100 weight part. The thickness of the film 10 is 0.01-0.1mm. Thus, a smooth and constant film 10 of good appearance can be manufactured easily. COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO
