Liquid crystal display panel and method for manufacturing same

This method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display panel (100A) comprises the steps of: preparing a first insulating substrate (10) and a first substrate (10A) which has photospacers (15) and a first alignment film (16); preparing a second substrate (20A) having a seal pattern (28) formed using a seal material including a thermoplastic resin, the second substrate being formed on a second insulating substrate (20); and bonding together and compressing the first substrate and the second substrate in a vacuum atmosphere; wherein the step of preparing the first substrate (10A) includes the steps of heating the resin forming the photospacers (15) to a first temperature, planarizing the top surfaces of the photospacers (15), and forming the first alignment film (16) so as to cover the photospacers (15). The step of compressing the first substrate and second substrate is performed at a second temperature lower than the first temperature.
