Risk factors of anemia among young children in rural Cameroon

Anemia is considered the most prevalent nutritional deficiency globally, affecting about a quarter of the world population, especially children and women of reproductive age [1,2]. In children, anemia can negatively affect cognitive development, school performance, physical growth, and immunity [3,4]. The prevalence of anemia in the world is 24.8 % [5].
