Thermal Recovery of Waste Sulfuric Acid with Concentrated Solar Radiation.

1991
Abstract Recovery of waste sulfuric acid requires a high specific energy input. It is proposed to supply the heat demand through solar energy. A technique for the high-concentration of waste sulfuric acid using concentrated solar radiation is proposed. A computer simulation determines the heat demand and the necessary parameters of the process. Results of the computer calculations are presented and discussed.
