Auxiliary truss bogie

2006
It refers to a secondary bogie frame relating to the transporting device of railway cargoes, especially to the bogie frame of the goods train. This device comprises wheel pairs, side frames and bolsters, the two wheel pairs are connected by a wheel pair shaft so as to constitute a set of wheel pairs, the two ends of the wheel pair shaft are separately provided with adapters, the adapters of the front and the rear wheel pairs are mounted wit side frames and elastic devices are installed between the side frames and the adapters. The key technologies are as follows: a self-steering device is installed on this bogie frame including a secondary frame and a tie rod, the two ends of the secondary frame are separately mounted on the adapters of the left and the right wheel pairs and the two pairs of frames are connected by the tie rod, which can reduce the wheel/trail forces, reduce the wears of the wheel/rail, effectively resolves the conflict arising from increasing sideways movement stability of the bogie frame and improving the curving performance of the bogie frame so as to reduce the maintenance costs of the bogie frame and orbits.
