RESISTANCE TO DELTAMETHRIN IN BLATTELLA GERMANICA (L.) (BLATTODEA: BLATTELLIDAE)

A strain of Blattella germanica from N.S.W. was tested for resistance to topically applied deltamethrin. A 20X resistance factor was determined at the LD50. This is the first report of synthetic pyrethroid resistance in B. germanica in Australia.
