Established were the associations of polymorphic markers of several genes with speed ranges of passive transmembrane ion transport in erythrocyte membranes in the examined ethnic group of Tatars. Given the wellknown combination of high-speed passive transmembrane ion transport with neurological and functional deficits in patients with ischemic stroke identified was a risk group for a poor prognosis of this disease.
