MICROSCOPIC MODELS FOR THE PARTICLE-VIBRATION COUPLING IN EXOTIC NUCLEI

Recent results obtained, often in fruitful collaboration with Japanese colleagues in the study of the interplay between single-particle and collective degrees of freedom are reviewed.
