Acousto-optics in integrated-optic devices for optical recording

Results on using the integratedoptics elements in pickup heads for read! write systems are reported In the head for digital information an acoustooptics was used to tune the focus position of the focusing grating coup1erThe measurements were carried out in Ti:LiNbOwaveguide for two wavelength of guided wave. In the head for holographic information the optical planar system was fabricated using TIPEtechnique. Acoustooptics creates information beams and modulates the intensity of every beam.
