Method for water treatment

2011
PURPOSE: A water treating method is provided to increase the availability of converter sludge which is the byproduct of a steel converting process. CONSTITUTION: A water treating method includes the following: converter sludge collected from a steel converting process is pulverized; the converter sludge and hydrogen peroxide are introduced into introducing water to fenton oxidize the introducing water; and the converter sludge is settled and collected. A pH value adjusting process is further implemented by introducing acid into the introducing water. The converter sludge pulverizing process includes a converter sludge drying process and a dried converter sludge pulverizing process. [Reference numerals] (AA) Pulverizing converter sludge collected from a steel converting process; (BB) Drying the converter sludge; (CC) Pulverizing the dried sludge into 1-5mm; (DD) Introducing acid into introduction water to adjust the pH value of the introducing water; (EE) Introducing the convert sludge and hydrogen peroxide into the introducing water to be fenton oxidized; (FF) Precipitating and collecting the converter sludge; (GG) Precipitating the converter sludge in a precipitating furnace; (HH) Dehydrating and drying the precipitated converter sludge; (II) Pulverizing the dried converter sludge
