The constant vaporizing composition of UO2 at 2150 and 2800 K

Abstract The constant vaporizing composition of UO 2 at 2150 and 2800 K was calculated, and its possible variation with the enthalpy of formation of UO 3 (g) and UO(g) studied. Very large negative values of the enthalpy of formation of UO 3 (g) are needed to move the constant vaporizing composition significantly below UO 2.0 .
