X-ray diffraction study of the interaction of poly(vinyltrimethylsilane), poly(trimethylsilylpropine), and poly(vinyl isobutyl ether) with benzene

The character of interaction of poly(vinyltrimethylsilane) (PVTMS), poly(trimethylsilylpropine) (PTMSP), and poly(vinyl isobutyl ether) (PVIBE) with benzene was studied by X-ray diffraction techniques. The main interaction stages are the dissolution of benzene in PVTMS and the surface and capillary condensation of benzene on PTMSP and PVIBE.
