Estudio de la ética de dirigentes de la administración pública en la Provincia de Sancti Spíritus, Cuba

Introduction: The integral and developmental functioning of the organizations depends to a great extent on the compliance of the ethics by its managers and workers. Objective: Design and apply a socio-psychological training to contribute to improve the ethics of public administration leaders, so that it influences the perception about their managerial performance. Methods: The experience follows a research logic that combines qualitative and quantitative procedures. It was applied to an entity of this sector in the Province of Sancti Spiritus. It starts from a general diagnosis of compliance with ethical precepts in 52 managers of 15 public administration entities. Results: The general results made possible the design and implementation of a socio-psychological training. The results allowed to reinforce conceptions and attitudes related to dynamic traits and ethical convictions, perception, analysis, communication, influence, persuasion, decision making and apprehension of the ethics of its managers. Conclusions: The training had a positive impact on the ethics of the organization's managers and workers.
