Oil cylinders are arranged on the two sides of the power head device correspondingly. The oil cylinders are connected with a power station through oil pipes. A laser theodolite is erected behind the power head device. A light target is arranged inside a guide head. The laser theodolite, the light target and a laser receiving device are all connected with a computer monitor. The invention further provides a construction process by means of the spiral pipe jacking machine, the process can be suitable for construction for various complex soil layers, the labor intensity is relieved, and the construction efficiency is improved; and compared with an existing machine head driven by a hydraulic motor, a machine head of the split type spiral pipe jacking machine has the advantages of being large in achieved torque, high in jacking speed and the like.
