Low-pressure Fuel Supply System for Vehicle Direct Injection Diesel Engine Fueled with DME

A low-pressure fuel supply system for vehicle direct-injection diesel engine fueled with DME was developed.The fuel supply pressure of this system could reach 2.0 MPa and had low fluctuation.In addition,the fuel supply quantity could be adjusted according to load difference.The results from vehicle experiment show the vehicle with the system starts quickly,works steadily and has little phenomenon of vapor lock at high temperature.Besides,the faults of fuel supply system decrease obviously.
