Abstract : Contents: Military Installations--Upon completion of this chapter the student should be able to: (1) recognize military installations on radar imagery; and (2) identify ammunition storage, arsenals, missile sites, supply depots, military forts and camps, and electronic installations to an accuracy commensurate with the scale and detail of the imagery; Transient Targets--After completing this chapter, the student should be able to: (3) identify vessels on radar imagery by means of change detection; (4) determine velocity of a transient target by means of change detection; (5) identify trains on radar imagery; (6) identify aircraft and gross changes due to change in status of an airfield; and (7) identify vehicles on the radar imagery.
