Antimicrobial proteins, compositions containing the same and their applications

The present invention OFFERS A composition of matter useful as an antimicrobial agent. THIS material composition comprising at least two polypeptides selected from the group consisting of polypeptides of polymorphonuclear leucocytes HUMAN HAVING MOLECULAR WEIGHT OF APPARENT about 3,500 Daltons, 13,000 Daltons, 18,000 Daltons, 29,000 Daltons and 54,000 Daltons. Material composition has antimicrobial activity INDEPENDENT EFFORT FOR BREATHING AND MUSHROOMS WITH PH BACTERIA between 5 and 8 APPROXIMATELY TO CALCIUM AND MERGERS approximately 10 mm, ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY CONCENTRATION OF SODIUM CHLORIDE TO APPROXIMATELY 0.3M, and fungicidal activity WITH SODIUM CHLORIDE CONCENTRATIONS TO 0.15M APPROX. Also presented methods for obtaining this composition of materials. It also presents purified polypeptides useful as antimicrobial agents and methods for obtaining these polypeptides.
