Streak Image Compression

This Streak image contains a lot of noise signals and it is not easy to accurately detect the target signal position. This article gives a method of determining target signal region and achieving streak image compression, which uses multi-resolution wavelet denoising and detecting target signal considering its overall continuous distribution as a rule and using the stepped-like piecewise function of range as the detection object. In target signal region, convolution filtering is used to detect the peaks, and then the three-dimensional image is calculated. Experiments show that the method can reduce the scale of data for computing, improve the quality of generating point cloud data and reconstruct 3D images more accurately.
