Influence of Aging After Deformation on Recovery Stress of FeMnSiCrNiC Alloys with Different Cr Content

2009
The influences of aging after deformation on maximal recovery stress and recovery stress at room temperature of FeMnSiCrNiC alloys with different Cr content were studied. The results show that aging at 1123 K for 300 min via 10% pre-strain at room temperature, the maximal recovery stress and recovery stress at room temperature of FeMnSiCrNiC alloys with 13wt%Cr and 8wt%Cr were much higher than those after solution treatment. The recovery stress at room temperature of FeMnSiCrNiC alloy with 13wt%Cr content is about 271 MPa,which is more twice than that of the conventional "trained" counterpart.
